The reasons why I have cut back on my Vine Time is mainly due to health issues, and needing some more "me time". However, as I stated in my last article for my Column, I have not left permanently, and, as good as my word, like now, I am visiting from time to time.

Thanks for the invite to add you as a friend. As a rookie to newsvine, I'm more about listening than I am about speaking. As the training wheels come off, I'll be posting more.
Cheers!

Sandie,
Thank you for the friends invite. I'm new here so it will take me a while to get up to speed with what you have seeded or written. I look forward to getting to know you. I am pretty shy so I don't usually comment, I usually just read what others are saying. I'm working on coming out of my shell.

Sandie,
Just a note to mention I appreciated your comments about my mutterings and to tell you that the first newspaper to pick up my column when I was going from paper to paper trying to sell it was in Seward County, Kansas. It was in the incredibly conservative town of Liberal which I think is a delightful irony.

Thanks for being a friend. I enjoy your column. I'm fit into that oxymoronic group of old nubes and would appreciate any hints you have to improve my column.

It's humbling to know that my random browsing and simple "bookmarking" of interesting news is garnering attention.
I hardly ever have any, much less interesting, comments on the things that I find note-worthy.
But thank you for your advice. Finally getting past the frustrating to the fun =]DM

Hello Sandie, Thank you so much for your kind comment on my comments and feedback column. I am slowly learning and loving the vine.

Hi, Sandie. Great to see you out of the Greenhouse. Can't have such talent languishing there. :o)
A little tip for your articles. Whenever you post anything, always write even one line of comment with it. It is comments which draw attention to your site, so start the ball rolling with that. If you're not sure of what to say with it, just copy a quote from it and put in the first comment box. That should attract your friends to the seed or article.
Looking forward to reading your postings.
OK I was getting the food for The Pack ready when my neighbors invited me over to a birthday party for a little boy (their 2y.o. nephew)...
