Artists impression of how Elizabeth looks now.

advertisement

Her face haggard and her hair lank and grey, she looks at least 20 years older than her actual age of 42.

But this is the first shocking image of Elisabeth Fritzl as she is today - 24 years after she was first locked up in a dungeon by her own father, Josef.

The artist's impression shows a woman with short, bluntly cut grey hair and a heavily-lined face - all indications of the decades of trauma she has suffered at his hands.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

15 years is the longest sentence he could possibly receive for this? Is that just for his daughter, or for holding everyone captive? Personally, I think prison is too good for him, he should know how his daughter and the children felt and what they lived with. He too should be locked in a dark hole,,,maybe let the big guys at prison take turns at having their way with him!

TAB~

Yes. A.B., and, if I were one of the "screws" I'd turn away if I saw other prisoners having a go at him.

(In fact, I'd be hard pressed not to put the "boot" in, myself).
