An official says incest father Josef Fritzl has temporarily been transferred to a jail in the Austrian capital as authorities determine where he will serve his life sentence.

Prison management official Peter Prechtl said Fritzl arrived at Vienna's Mittersteig jail yesterday. He had previously been held in the Lower Austrian city of St Poelten.
