I went to bed around midnight last night, and as I lay down, an "inner voice" told me to "streach my body for all I'm worth."
I did so, and lay on my back forcing my arms above my head as far as they would go, also forcing my legs and feet towards the bottom of the bed.
I kept this posistion for around five minuets and then I felt an overwhelming sense of pain creeping up my body, it grew sharper until it seemed to reach just under my right lung, then, wham! like a bolt from the blue, I yelled out as the pain hit me hard.
However, it soon went, and I immediatly started feeling relaxed and painfree, and this was how I felt all night. Got up around four o'clock to use the bathroom.......no aches or pains, and my movements were a lot easier.
Awoke this morning, and still no actual pain, just a little soreness, probably where I streatched, and this is how it's been all day so far.
I phoned my friend who has trained as a physiotherapist, and she explained to me that what has probably happened is that I have "dropped" a slipped disc" back into place, and it was this disc that had been causing me so much discomfort.
I hope she's right!
