A minor Miracle?

health, pain, relief, hearing-voices, slipped-discs, strange-happening

I went to bed around midnight last night, and as I lay down, an "inner voice" told me to "streach my body for all I'm worth."

I did so, and lay on my back forcing my arms above my head as far as they would go, also forcing my legs and feet towards the bottom of the bed.

I kept this posistion for around five minuets and then I felt an overwhelming sense of pain creeping up my body, it grew sharper until it seemed to reach just under my right lung, then, wham! like a bolt from the blue, I yelled out as the pain hit me hard.

However, it soon went, and I immediatly started feeling relaxed and painfree, and this was how I felt all night. Got up around four o'clock to use the bathroom.......no aches or pains, and my movements were a lot easier.

Awoke this morning, and still no actual pain, just a little soreness, probably where I streatched, and this is how it's been all day so far.
I phoned my friend who has trained as a physiotherapist, and she explained to me that what has probably happened is that I have "dropped" a slipped disc" back into place, and it was this disc that had been causing me so much discomfort.

I hope she's right!

I'm glad it wasn't some sort of emergency! Some *voices* might be a good thing! :-)

Don't knock the voices. I found out that the voices are little people that crawl into your ear while you're asleep. They put little antennas up close to the front of your skull, then run cable over to the opposite ear that they came in, drop cable down to your belly button, and implant a mike there. They have one of those machines where they can understand any language so that helps. I've had them for years. :)

I need my meds. Sandie, glad you're feeling better.

Sandie, I'm glad the voice you heard seems to have been good advice from the Holy Spirit rather than a lying spirit.

I hope the pain is permanently gone, whether it was a slipped disk that went back into place or whatever.

Today, (Thursday), is the third pain-free day, Jameseg, so I obviously listened to the correct voice.

Sounds like a ghostly chiropractor spoke to you, sandie.

I think that many humans aren't as practiced, as they used to be, to paying attention to what their body is telling them. Disc problems can really be a bummer; glad your feeling better Sandie.
